Adjudication
Very focused and controlled sounds to begin with an excellent balance and sound. Basses could perhaps be a little lighter before 'B' but this section is generally handled with a real attention to detail - rhythm and dynamics. Not fully secure at 'D' but very assured from cornet, and then euphonium. Excellent music-making here and all so disciplined. 'H' well handled and 'I' is thunderous indeed. Great sounding trombones at 'J', and cornets(muted) as well as horns at 'K' are fantastic. All very impressive. 'M' again features a rich warm sound and a real sensitivity in the playing - well done euph, so lyrical! 'P' has a broad sweep to the sound, I am very impressed with your restraint and good taste here - superb! 'Q' some great stylistic touches here and all is played with such confidence by you. The odd untuneful moment from 'V' but such a fantastic sop and bass end, sandwiching a sonorous middle. Can't ask for more really! Overall I was mightily impressed with just about everything in your performance - banding at its best, well done everyone!
